Trophy NO 27 On Autotrader, Don't waste your time.

I wondered why there was no mention of mileage in the add, It's on 111k , Condition is pretty poor, washer blank missing, seats heavily worn, arch liner isn't right, Bonnet looked like it didn't line up right and the headlight is fogged up. That was without looking a the engine or anything else.

Its had a front bumper re-spray....

Its cheap though so might be worth a punt for a project?

I don't think it's that cheap, You can get a 40/50k one for £5500. This one is completely trashed.

Well its cheaper than the mint examples about isnt it

im just saying for 4k for a trophy to get one which needs nothing just isnt going to happen. i think 6k + to get a gooden with all the bits done (damper refurb, cambelt etc)

There has been a couple of nice low mileage with the dampers / cambelt done this last week but i think they have sold, It is cheap compared to a mint one but by the time you add up the dampers, cambelt, seats & everything else it's not cheap, I just was going on the advert which doesn't say much & in the pictures it looks great.

sir daves is nearly 200K and pulls like a train iirc, as long as its been looked after mechanicaly, there should be no problem! always worth getting some money off too!

Wat 200mph said wip out some cash and try and get them down on the price and if you get it cheap enough then you can sort out the problems.

Don't think so and he didn't seem to know, I would rather pay more and get a well looked after car, I always go on the principal that if someone can't be bothered / afford to fix the little issues like steering wheel, washer blanks missing etc then what else have they not bothered to do.

that's is true Tbf and Renault can quickly turn into money pits if neglected

With that mileage, if it was super mint, it would be worth £4999, tops!

A damper refurb and a cambelt kit is over £1000 alone.

Tbh by the time you sort out the problems get the dampers refurbed etc it will end up costing the same as a good condition trophy.
