Trophy suspension fitted onto a 182 Cup...

Car  Peddled device
....if the Trophy's dampers are fitted to a 182 Cup will this give the Cup the legendary ride/handling that we here about so often? Is it a straight swap and does the fact that l have Eibach Sportline's fitted cause any issues?

Personally l'm guessing that you'll most likey say it's not worth the effort of finding the dampers, possibly refurbing them and then getting them fitted/set-up.

Ok...shoot !

Someone on here has done it on here before and said its the best thing he ever did. I'd go for it if you can find a setup.

Yep you will have the handling.
Yep it's a straight swap.
Be better with Std springs I imagine, don't even know if sportlines would fit the front dampers ?

Decent coilovers is a better option. My 172 handles better (IMO) than my Trophy did.

Even a decent set of coilovers would need loads of time getting setup maybe messing with spring rates and damper setings to get a ride like the trophy setup.

Erm, no lol. H&R's, or KW V2's ride just as well as the Trophy set-up.

don't the trophys use eibach springs anyway?

even if they don't, the standard springs will match the valve rates of the shocks.

Yep eibachs springs as standard - I'm running mark fish springs which lower the car extra 20mm - personally I think it should have come from the factory like this! the stance look ALOT better - costly though!

Also a great upgrade to the Sach damper at the front is koni's on the rear. Again you can go for the standard ones of mark fish has them revalved to compensate for the fronts.
