XC90, 330d, Trophy’s
2 weekends back I dropped in to see Nick172Cup to have a look at the Trophy he had for sale.
a deal was made and the car was to become mine a couple of weeks later.
Late this morning a ventured back over to Nicks to finally collect the car and get it back over to my unit to start a few little jobs on it.
finally back home and thanks to my good mate Tom who set about giving the bodywork a good buftying.
Several washes with a degreaser, iron X, snow foam and then pulled inside so he could set about the car for a good claying
we couldn't believe the difference to the paintwork just with a decent clean.
goes to show how the rubbish weather destroys the looks of the paintwork
while I was tinkering with a few bits, and keeping on top of the coffee situation, Tom cracked on with getting the polisher out to try and rejuvenate the paintwork a little further and to start removing a lot if the swirly marks
