Tuning 1.5dci 65bhp?

  CBR1000RR Fireblade
the cheap diesel tuning boxes are resisters that fool your ECU and give false readings. they can damage your engine and cause all sorts of problems.

do what AK said.

I was thinking about getting a tuning box untill I got informed they can cause loads of damage to your engine. So dont get one.

I am saving for a remap which is £300 and I will get around 125bhp from my dci 100bhp. And loads of torque.

From a 65bhp dci with a remap you will probs get around 90bhp i am guessing. (CS dont crusify me if im wrong its a guess lol)

But yeh don't get a tuning box unless you wanna wreck your car lol :)

cheap maps like that give horrendous torque spikes. you will find that the lower intellectually able folk seem to love things like this.

"oh its well fast now in it bruv!" not.

the more expensive companies dont just download files off the internet like the cheap companies do, that have the boost whacked up, so when the turbo kicks in you get an awful torque spike and the rude boys shout "brap"

its your car and you will do as you please, if you want your turbo and injectors to give up the ghost after 20,000 miles then go for it.

PS, i used to play with diesels and i dont know many other people like me who got 305 lbs / ft out of a PD115 engine ;)

i had a silky smooth torque graph, infact ive yet to see a dci100 give as much power and torque as my cheap map gave me. but i suppose im one of these lower intellectually able folk, so what do i know.

I'm out.

My job isn't to educate the masses on variables and how easy it to adjust rollers etc etc etc

and my job isnt to educate the masses on why you dont need to pay £400 for a map because Gouldy said so. you can stick by your narrow minded opinion all you want, we've got a nice group of members on our forum running the same maps as i did, with massive possitive feedback, difference is our mapper isnt "cashing in" on it, instead is enjoying regular business offering a top notch service to our members, and getting customer after customer out of it...

Why bother? You will gain about 15bhp I imagine, you'll hardly notice it. Save your money.
