Turbo help...

Hi there

My Clio 1.5 DCi has started to show signs of a worn turbo.

The help I need is finding the best/cheapest place for replacement internals.
The housing will be fine has its hardly been driven since showing signs of wear.

I can see that catridges are available on Ebay but if anyone knows of cheaper compsnys, that would be appreciated

Be careful with cheap ebay bits

look for companies that refurbish / rebuild them as I wouldn't want to take the risk of not seating a bearing properly in something that is likely to be spinning at 50,000 - 100,000 rpm

Agreed, especially as the normal way for the cowboys to save money is by not balancing them as thats the expensive bit of a rebuild basically.
