my dad recently bought a 36" hdtv..on the instructions it said to obviously plug in your sky and dvd scart leads and thenturn the tv on and it will automatically tune itself..it did this and all was good for about a week..so this is what happens now...i will turn the tv on and turn the sky box on,i will put mtv on and its fine but as soon as i change the channel the tv will go to an unused channel and i will get a blue screen,i will then have to turn it back to channel 1 to get sky back..whats wrong and how do i get rid of this problem as its driving my dad mad

Easiest thing I can think of is to find the "Restore to Factory Defaults" menu (or the like) on the TV and start from scratch and hopefully it should be ok, like it was when it originally tuned when you first plugged it all in..

its not a simple case of just pushing the sky button on the sky remote before changing the channel ch+ or ch- using the sky remote?
