TV Signal

My gf lives in a block of flats, her tv runs off a communal aerial.... every single channel resembles how Channel 5 used to look like when no-one could receive it! Its piss poor!

Was gonna get a signal booster from B&Q, but past experience shows they are just a waste of money.

Getting freeview won't help. Worth investing in Sky/Cable?

cable is ok but the box is appalling. I'd go with Sky if the choice is there.

I live in apartments and the TV reception is shite aswell. Got Sky installed not long after and haven't used terrestrial tv since.

The signal in my bedroom is poor so I got a splitter to T off the coax that goes to my telewest cable modem and plugged it directly back into the back of my TV and tuned it into the analog signal that telewest still transmit down their cables.

Works a treat the picture is crystal clear.

why wont freeview help? my picture used to be pish, then i got freeview, now every channel is perfect!
