hi all, looking at putting some new tweeters in my 172 as the standard renault ones have gone kaput, TRIED to get the dash off but it just was not having it (this is on a mk2 clio btw)
I have mounted the tweeters, do i really need to take the dash off to wire them in?
Also what wires am i looking for if i dont take the dash off
help is greatly appreciated

probably just me being retarded then buddy, i undone all the screws i knew off but just could not get it off.
do you have to completly remove the A pillars before it will come off?

I think so mate - they just pop off

My tweeters are mounted in my A-pillars now though

Gettin my Tweeters mounted on my A-pillars was the best thing I done. where they are in the dash you can hardly hear them, but the difference is amazing when there on the apillars. So much clearer. Plus if you get it done write it looks the part.

Bugger, spent ages at the weekend, even had a go at my missus which wasnt nice,

Looks like ill be ordering some replacement tweeter coves then from renault lol

did you just hook them up to the wires which are in place for the factory fit ones?
