Tyre advice wanted pls

I have an 04 (silver)172 Cup and at the moment have origial Continental tyres - one of which now has a nail embedded in it ! :-(

Visited local tyre shop who have advised me these tyres are now obsolete - can anyone advise a) where any spares of this kind available ?

b) next best or better replacement

contisport 2s arnt obsolete Im sure my local fitter has a new poster up for them.

Id stick to OE if poss.

have a look on mytyres.co.uk I dont know the full title of the OE tyre for the 172/ 172cup see if they are on there.

Id be surprised if they no longer do them they are a new tyre not been out long.

I read somewhere that there were only 70 silver cups produced as some part of a Sony promotion , though cant be sure.

pe2s for def.....ur cars only as good/bad as the contact it has with the road......tyres are the contact.....dont compromise
