Tyres for my trophy ... help

Hi guys I'm in need of some help, I need 4 new tyres for my trophy but unsure on what to get? I've been reading that I should get some (Michelin Pilot EXALTO PE2 205/45 R16 83v) but cannot find them anywhere plus are they more of a Sumer tyre?

Sadly, the PE2's were discontinued some time ago. A popular alternative is the Michelin PS3, which is what I currently have and really rate them.

I thought that as it was an old thread I got the information from, are they ok for winter use?

PS3 are fine for winter in terms of them being an all season tyre. They'll obviously never stand up to the likes of a dedicated winter tyre though.

I've found the higher (W rated I think) to be he better choice.

I miss PE2 :(

What are your requirements? Price / noise / wet grip / dry grip / grip in cold conditions / longevity / feel / etc.

You can't have everything, tyres are a compromise so name your most important two attributes.

I miss PE2 😧

That's perfect was just worried they would be awful I'm the winter, I may look into a tyre that is slight more aimed at winter weather though.

Not worried about price, just would like the best I could buy as it's such an important part of the car, just unsure on what the top sort of tyres for a trophy this time of year are? And if the PS3 could be used or would it just be better to get proper winter tyres?

I'd say only get winter tyres if you're prepared to swap at the end of each season or have a spare set. Don't get winters and then moan come spring time.
Both are totally worth it, but if you only get one , PS3

If the PS3s are like the Primacy 3s they will be useless when it snows since their tread pattern (which looks awfully similar on the PS3) are a block pattern and made for other things in mind. PS3s like most performance tyres are a summer tyre.

Never a truer word spoken. I have had budget tyres which have been surprisingly good in the snow but OK in the dry and awful in the wet!

How much will you drive in winter and when (i.e what time) will you drive at? IMO they are only really worth it if the car is a daily driver.

That said, the PS3s are pretty good everywhere bar snow. It's the only tyre which has stumped me (and friends thinking they could do better with my car) in the snow when trying to go up a hill. But I guess that is the is price to pay for a tyre which does not wear that badly at all, grip well in almost all conditions.

Im on Hankook Evo V12's and rate them, I also have Rain Sport 3s on my other set of wheels which I'm waiting to try.

The Hankooks are a good tyre and i also rate them.
