If you spec say a gloss black roof that gets painted at the import centre, alarms get fitted over here too along with cup spoilers/skirts/front splitter. The leather retrims get done in the import centre too.

Quick question....has it got the stupid daytime running lights?

Im sure in my local dealers there's a notice saying that all cars registered or made after June 2011 have to have them fitted, and then offer the Philips ones for £200 fitted. My mate has just picked up his brand new Twingo and it hasn't got them. Bit contradictory to the notice!

Aah I get you... 'standard' cars get sent to the dealers then personalised from there?

Re : the steering wheel, it appears to have white stitch to me, just a yellow band at the top,

I thought ours had yellow stitch right round (2010 spec)

Anyone clarify??

No not to the dealers they come from france to the import centres either teesport(Middlesbrough) or Southampton. Take chris's for example if he had ordered the gloss black roof it would have came over unpainted & painted here at the import centre. Along with alarm etc. the dealers do he simple jobs like fit mats & steering wheel inserts lol. Duel controls for learner cars are fitted at the import centre too.

My 200 wheel has yellow stitching on the band & white all round the wheel they are all like this Colin. Isn't your wheel from a 197 with the red band?

Mum and dad have a 200 Craig, I just always thought it was yellow stitched, but I really couldn't remember lol

You'll have to check if it has yellow stitching all round now lol, I'm sure it's a yellow or red band & white stitching on them all though.

Looks mint mate but still think that the rear is missing a cup spoiler. Might change my mind when I see it in person.

Radio display screen. You hold down two buttons on the radio controls stalk to enable it.

i take it new ones dont come with white recaros then just white rev counter? i didnt like the sound of the white anyway, yellow looks much better in the flesh than it does in pics, i love mine.

however watch your passengers, i take great care getting in and out my recaros so they dont wear and my drivers one is perfect, yet my passengers one is looking a bit worn already on the side bolster and hardly anyone has sat in it! Get people to put their hand on the sill and lift their weight out over the bolster.

my mate told me to do this and its worked a treat, he also had one of THEE only EK9's ive saw with PERFECT side bolsters!

I've got plain plates, 6k HIDs for the projectors and I'll get some silvervisions.

That'll do for the time being. Maybe I'd look at at KW's at a later date but they'd never be silly low like my 182 was.
