Ultraleggeras and spigot rings

Got myself a set of Oz Ultralegerras (et37) for the 182 ff cup, that come with spigot rings and have a couple of queries...

Do I need to fit the spigot rings?

If I do need to fit them the rings don't fit easily into the wheel and would need to be forced in to get them flush (probably with a hammer and block of wood) is this normal or should they just slip in no problem?

Yes and yes to malleting them.

Cheers for that Heez, I wanted a bit of re-assurance before I go anywhere near 700 quids worth of alloys with the trusty lump hammer!!

You just have to tap em in. Even the wooden end of a hammer will be enough.
