Uneven ride height

Car  Clio 172
Hey guys I bought a 2002 172 a month or so ago and it was sat about 10mm lower on the drivers side. I’ve changed the shocks and springs all round with new cup shocks with new top mounts and bearings and spax springs and both wishbones and it still sits uneven. All the panel gaps line up and the subframe doesn’t have any signs of damage. Has anyone got any ideas for wat could be causing this.

All 4 tyres are 195/45r16, the same make and type and correctly inflated to 33 psi fr & 30 psi rr?

Now that makes sence lol everything as to be right to pass (and rightly so ) ..... if i had the penny's thats one thing i would love to do Hillclimbs I bet you will have some fun in a clio :)

You should do a project thread on here am sure lots of people would like to see your clio getting ready for hillclimb :) ...me for sure.

I’ve only noticed because I’m building it for hillclimbs so I’m thinking like the Msa scrutineers

Can you run coilovers in class?

If so, you then find a corner weight specialist to set it up to comply with all regulations.

I can run coilovers in class but I thought I would put cup shocks on for now and do the rest of the build then whilst I’m racing upgrade things like that as I go

Best get on with the rest of the build, and worry about 10mm later then.

As Steve said, what about the tyres and make of them all round

Or you have a full tank of fuel

Or no interior but a heavy drivers seat

Or crash damage and a drivers side full of filler

Guessing games from me, sorry

is it running the same lower arms on both sides? not extra castor on one side and pre cup on the other? have a look at the angle the lower ball joints are coming out from the arm, if you look at the car from side on, if it has extra castor the wheel will sit closer to the front bumper rather than be in the centre of the arch
