upgrading from iphone 3g to 4

might be a right r****d question but im upgrading from a iphone 3g to a 4.

when you plug the iphone4 into your pc does it download all your contact details/photos/games and what not that are stored on your itunes as a backup (from the 3g)straight on to it or do you have to manually tap in all the numbers again and everything else?

Itunes will ask you if you want to use a back up from the other phone. Its easy.

When I updated from the 3GS to the 4 it updated everything that was on my 3 to my 4, including contacts, calendar dates etc..
