urgent 172 gearbox help

hi all..new to the fourm..iv a real problem..need my ph1 172 back on the road for over xmas..
im from n.ireland and cant get a hold of a proper 172 gearbox..
can anyone please tel me if any other reno box from any model wil fit my car to do me over xmas?

If yours is a Ph1 172, you need a Ph1 172 box or a 172 cup box.

Any JC5 box will fit and the car will drive.

Ph1 172 or 172 Cup box is required to get the speedo working.
