Urgent advice needed. Dephaser

I'm wanting to buy a 172. It has been diagnosed with noise from the dephaser pulley.

Now thats not the issue, the car is very cheap and I already have a price for it being fixed along witht he belts.

My question is. How big a risk is it to drive this car 250miles will a noisy dephaser??
