URGENT HELP REQUIRED

Can someone tell me exactly where the starter motor is on a 1994 1.4RT Auto? Battery is fine but the bl00dy thing wont even turn over. Lights and everything electric works. Its stuck in a car park @ the moment and costing!!

Anyone help please?

behind engine under inlet manifold.

Give it a twack and check the connection on the solenoids as it usually goes.

yes, look along the back of the gearbox where it meets the engine....its poking out behind there.

Whats a gearbox , only kiddin, found it & the cables were ok, gave it a tap with a small hammer and bingo, car is back where it should be now. Wouldnt start again after switching off though Are they easy to change??

its a bit fiddly but better on your car than mine.
