URGENT i need a pipe bit and help

  172 cup TT
Hi all

Noticed a bit of a power steering puddle when moving away earlier.. got it checked over and it turned out that the HIGH PRESSURE pipe that runs AWAY from the power steering pump has a slight fracture in it...

Couple of questions:
My cars a 52 172 cup with no AC
1) Would ANY clio model outbound PSteering pipe fit mine?
2) Anyone got one? or idea of where i can get one?
3) If i need to do say a 60 odd mile journey is it ok to keep topping the power steering up? or could it just really blow open on the motor way and i lose steering at a high speed?? :(

Many thanks all
Floodie

no u need it for a 2002 cup like urs!! yeah u did speak to me a whille ago!! :D

i can arrange to get one for u and fit it but its the issue of getting it here isnt it. maybe its best to get it to a local garage asap. if u say it was fine it makes me think the garage damaged it and are trying to cover there mishap!!

Yep the story above WASNT quite the proper story but i didnt want to start a "dodgy garage" thread hehe.. but yeh i know.. im just going to drive slow home. Ive had PS go on me before so know what it physically FEELS like, but what are the warning signs i need to listen out for in case i need to pull over and top up? i dont want it seizing the PS pump :(
