how do you take an immobiles off or turn it offits a m reg valver, crisis on my hands

As you look at it, it should be in the roof of the box, on the left hand side.

does the zig-zag light flash when you turn on the ignition?

ok..if the red light is working in the key...then go to roof receiver..pull it down..you will find a small printed board...probs got water on it.
clean it and spray with wd 40
if the light on your key is not working...take the key apart and clean..or change battery.

when i had mine i ahd the same probs and had to tow it to the renault garage to get the to recode both of the keys,was around 35 quid. think those keys operate on a kid of counter thing, so you can only use them so many thousand times and then they need reprogramming, get a mate to tow you. think im right, somebody may correct me though

had that replaced a few times tried everything so now the car is in the garage having a whole new alarm system fitted, just want something i can rely on, took it in at 12 and they allready started it i was impressed, thanks for all the hep guys appreciated
