URGENT wiring query.

Sorry to make a new post, but I have taken part of the console out to fit the control unit for my Lidatek LE30.

Main question.

I have 3 wires on the cigar lighter.

Brown w/ black stripes.

Yellow w/red stripe (twice the thickness of the other 2)

Light Blue.


I just need positive and negative, I cannot make sence of the wiring diagram in the Haynes guide I have.

Do you know which one is which ??

The actual unit works as I have tested it on the battery.

am pretty sure on mine a mk1 1992 clio the blue one was for the light the yellow is your plus and brown is earth also if u want the unit to light up you have to find a earth for it

You mean if I want the LED on my kit to light ??

Because it lights just fine, it connects through the interface box, that was right though thankyou.

I shall make a Guide later for those thinking of doing the same. BTW I managed to get the transponder in without removing any bodywork, except for a knuckle of mine.

Lesson1. Don't put your fingers through the front grill.
