USb Flash Drive

Hey ppl,
I just got the Kingmax USB 1GB Flash drive. I am finding it really slow to xfer files. It takes around 20 seconds to xfer a 26Meg file. My other crappy 128MB drive did it in 4 seconds! Any one expirenced this problem? According to the specs, this new dirve should be faster at both reading and writing.

And you're putting it into the same port on your PC as you did your old memory card?

I have done yeah. I have also tried every other USB port(USB2). I think it may just be the drive. Shame, its a nice drive too!
