lol yup the gearbox has been supposedly fixed 3 times and yet i sill hav to let the car tick over for bout 5 mins when its cold b4 itll go into gear. and the misfire u can hear as if its coming through the right exhasut liuke a puffing noise but when u put ur had to the exhaust its quite powerfull and the car is nw loosin power through the rev range and its very noticible but the renault manager is refusing to look into the problem any further as he says there is no error code when they run the diagnostic check so i explained to him that all he had to do was stand with me outside the car and he would hear i which he refused to do. ARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH HELP!!!!!!!!
Dont worry mate, it may take time but they will sort it. I have literally just got off the phone with them about a matter that start way back in June, but finally we have all the issues resolved and my car is getting the treatment it deserves! RUK are the most powerful tool in your arsenal at this time, and if you take the time to explain the issue, and show you know a little about what your talking about, it all helps. Maybe offer to take a video and send RUK a youtube link to it so they can see the issue to? It all helps mate.

Phone Renault UK. anything you cant get sorted with your dealership, R UK look into it.
My friend wasn't getting his bolster fixed through the dealer in Edinburgh he bought it from even though it was only months old. R UK got it sorted out for him and did not accept the dealers rubbish excuses.
It may take abit of time but take up your issues with them and hope you get on alright.

Yeah ayr garage are rubbish, iv almost given up with renaults because of the amount of bad experiences iv had!

My car was in the garage today about the gearbox wouldnt go in to reverse or 1st gear when cold but they changed the gearbox oil n it seems fine now will see in the morning how it is but
Your experience of Parks doesnt surprise me, they were extremely unhelpful and border line useless last year when I had a few issues with workmanship, so Id go with what people have said here, RUK is your best port of call.
Diarise all dealings, write all facts and who you spoke to and identify what areas of the service are substandard and what the dealer has offered or done to rectify. The fundamental facts are what you need to present to RUK to get any joy of assistance and a helping hand towards the resolution of the issues you have encountered.

chaz cup thats wat theyve did with mine twice with the gearbox oil reverse and first was my issues 2 bu sadly the new oil seems to work for about a week bud u will be back with the same s.hit. again i must say cheers for all the advice lads hopefully it all helps to rectify my issues

gouldy keeny is the foreman at ayr and he services my cars for me although i dont want to bother him with all these issues with my car as i don feel i should have to drive to ayr and have to call in favours to get my fundamental rights as a customer from renault if u know wat i mean

lol with a passion is nt the word just had them on the phone was supposed 2 be getting the car back the day but they can giv me it back as 2 of my wheels that they have just fixed are now a diffrnet colour from my other 2 so they nw have 2 re do them. just when parks get really bad the surpass themselfs and get even worse lol

We have no decent dealers in central Scotland it seems. Had many run in's with Ruk over dealers attitudes (mostly parks) regrading issues with a year old Twingo rs
Had one dealer. Parks. Wont say which Parks though, That on a road-test for heavy steering done 67mph in a F*****g 30! Never reported him as i thought they wouldnt believe me. I know the speed as i was a passenger btw. Needless to say i wasn't happy with him!
