using AG super resin

  Clio MK 4
I used it for the first time on the weekend and is it normal its a pain in the arse to buff out? I Applied it and pretty much buffed it straight away with sonus microfibre towel and even after doing it on each panel i can still see the stuff on the car. I was all fine after i used the gloss protection then p21's but its put me off using srp as it was a pain lol.

I've never had a problem removing it . You only need to apply it very thinly . I use these German applicators and work the polish well , much better than the yellow foam pads imo . Maybe try a panel at a time ? I usually do the whole car then remove with a good plush microfibre cloth .

SRP is far easier to use than the EGP which most moan about.

Panel at a time - Small blob (5-20 pence sized) on a foam hand pad is plenty to door or wing. Work it until you can hardly see any left on the panel and remove with a good MF.

Don't slap it on, anything you wipe off is wasted product.

I've used it loads & combined with egp i cant fualt the the finish:cool: , maybe you applied to much? or didn't give it enough time to dry? i start at the top of the car & work my way down, by the the time i'm at the bottom i find the tops ready to be buffed off then start with egp

o right. I applied it on a foam pad and wiped it light all over (panel at a time) then tried buffing it out with a micro fibre towel.

so i'm meant to just put a smal blob on a panel and buff that out all ove rthat panel?

^^^ Like the mans says . You need to apply some pressure as its a polish . I think some people are under the the misconception that you just spread it on and remove it and it's job done . It needs to be worked like any polish . Thats why i use the german applicators , they give some bite and achieve better results than the small yellow foam applicators .

I see. Ye I thought it was spread on lightly then buff. I'll purchase one of them german applicators.

And for the egp thats a light spread then buffed out after 30mins?

Yeah that is fine for the EGP, though I find it comes of better after left on for a touch longer.

SRP is a good product. But i find it dusty. Not something i'd use on mine.

EGP is hopeless, one of the worst products for application, it's impossible to get a nice even finish. Hate it.

You tried SRP by PC yet Ali ? - worked by machine or properly by hand it will not dust.
