just a quickie ive just finished putting my rears on the front as they have lots of tread left and well its a cup and the roads are slippy at the mo..
cant find what PSI to run the fronts / backs they look flatter at the front now.

also dont have any rear seats so less weights will this effect rear PSI settings

anyhelp most usefull

Lo mate,

Your weight won't affect the PSI needed as its a pretty insignificant amount. Personally also i'd keep slightly lower pressure this time of year than during summer where i'd use 31/29.

Porbably suggest a PSI of 30/28 this time of year to attain more friction. But its down to preference mate, some prefer to run 34/32 but personally i think that lends itself to dry smooth tarmac. Looking at the roads near you softer tyre would be more comfortable and better traction.

Make sure the best tyres are on the back not the front of the car the CLios a bit twitcy in the wet. I learnt the hard way.
Presusres are down to personal preference try the manauracturers recomendations and work from there.

oops put the good ones on the fron. now running 30/29 as advised by AndyGDI

two fronts were running 26/27 psi before tonight ! eek

As edde says, I'd be very careful putting wornish tyres on the rear. You need all the grip you can get back there!

I run 32/30 in my 172.. but's its personal preference really. Just experiment until you get the feel for what you like.

I personally stick with the good ones on the front Phil, the car still goes where you point it then, but you of course have to be comfortable and careful with the nice agile back end.

Pressure wise, normally I run 30F 33R to help keep the back agile, but after two MASSIVE "moments" this afternoon, I dropped the backs down to 30 as soon as I got back home.

Greasy roads are a b*****d at the moment.
