Yozza Powered 172 CUP

I have been through search but found no definitive answer so here i am!
Thought i'd got myself a steal, from a scrappy, a V6 Espace airbox for the princely sum of a crisp 10 pound note!
I know they dont do much in the way of gains but i have an open Hill power induction kit and Mr RS Tuning advised i needed a standard item to get more power out of the cams, inlets, full system and remap on my 172 cup PH2 so i thought why not go for a V6 item with the one large feed.
Anyway it arrive me thinking here we go must be getting close to 190ishBHP and a smoother drive but no!!! The darned thing is square!!!!!!
So..........Can you let me know the exact Espace the correct fitment is from IE - what year and what engine, i believe there were a few phases of these and some are 3.0 and some 2.9
