V6 Glovebox

Today i was sat waiting in the car for somone, so sorted some stuff out in the glove box, and to my suprise there is a blue plug thing in the righthand corner. I guess this is for cooling the glove box??? i didnt realise the V6 came with the cooled glove box. I guess they introduced at the same time they introduced it on the 182??

Think the whole renault range now has cooled glove boxes. All the ones with AC anyway.

Renault have stopped putting blue covers in new cars though, they stopped back end of last year.

and yeah its to have it cooled or not as you say.


my bros new megane didnt come with the blue cover, thought they had forgot to fit it. (it just clips on and off) but dealer took one of their cars and gave him it for free.

Only found out afterwards that the blue covers are no longer fitted.

OK how do I set it to cool then?

if yours doesnt have the blue cover it will go cool every time you have AC on cool. Just works off that. If you have the blue cover, be sure to turn it to open position.
