valver to a 172

Is this a big jump ? insurance wise ?? and performance wise ??

basically is it worth a 19 year old swapping from a valver to a 172 or should i wait till i can REALLY afford it ??

its quite a large jump, around 5 insurance groups IIRC

i thot about goin from a dci to a 172 and even test drove two but think it will be worth the wait!!

i pay roughly £650 for my valver and was quoted £ 780 for a new 172 whivh i thought wasnt that bad

i got quoted more for a 172 than a cup, which i thought was odd, they came out about £300 more than now for my 16v,

performance wise, i wouldnt worry about it (my dad has a 172)

as i went from a, ahem !! 1.1 fiesta (it was a minter) to my 16v with no problems with the power difference of it etc..

the 172 isnt that much faster/more powerful than a good 16v - go and test drive one and see( que pissy owners ) certainly not enough to tempt me away from getting one instead of the 16v.

personal opinion, but you get more looks in a 16v than you will in a 172, they look to much like the others, and thats partly what your after init...
