Valver upgrades- suggestions please!

Hi there,
A friend just bought a valver and I'm trying to help him with getting the car close to a nice enjoyable to driving machine.
First thing is the car needs a fresh exhaust, we were wondering which pipe diameter suits these cars the best - I reckon 2.25" as it will not get heavy engine mods in the future.
There is this thing about the wide track mod using 172 parts, so what's really needed to do this conversion?

Ok so no valver owners left huh? ?

There’s a few of us on here, there’s a Facebook group for the Clio 1.8 too.

No idea on diameter but the magnex for the valver sounds and fits great and can be found secondhand sometimes, it’s what I run on mine. K-tec do a 4-2-1 manifold which performs better and weighs about half what the original one does too, so well worth a purchase.

I did the full Williams widetrack on mine, upgrading the bushes to power flex in the process. Completely transforms the handling of the car. Doing the 172 version is probably more cost effective these days though as parts are easier to find.

So for the wide track conversion using 172 parts you need what?
172 hubs and wishbones, shocks and calipers, 172 steering rack, 172 antiroll bar? Am I missing something? Does the anti roll bar fit the valver as they seem different?

Oh and what's this any idea as it is leaking some petrol, looks like a sort of pump

That looks weird, the flywheel is quite exposed there, is that ok?..
