valvers now a hybrid

  williams 2 turbo
picked it up yesterday, and f**k me. i honestly did'nt believe there would be that much difference between the two. i have a few issuses with it like exhaust knocking and i think its it got a bent drive shaft now, but other than that, it goes like stink.

i would recommend this conversion to anyone

p.s. ive also had a 5 gt turbo conversion done before, and i think this one is more fun.

Yeah i liked my old hybrid and your right there is a significant difference copared to the 1.8 lump......Right on the power from 2k etc!!!

Whats the spec of it?? Standard??

Any pics??

Nice one. I think I may have too do this after the summer.

Although the valver is just becoming one massive money pit!!!

Diamond Geezer, did you used to have the marble painted, kitted Clio with the diamond exhausts that used to be around Harlow alot???

I think any engine converstions classed as a hybrid isnt it!?

The one in question though is a 2.0 Williams engine into a valver shell i suspect.

g man, yep thatwas the old car(marbled one), and yep it will no dout be lobbed on a set of rollers soon. just have to sort the maxi kit out now.

woo hoo, im gonna be even more broke than i am now yet again. yay

'tis cheaper (and makes more sense if you have your practical hat on lol) to just get a valver or willy in the first place!

Valver engines are cheap though, but wiring etc isn't fun I imagine :S

I really would consider just buying a valver - insurance will bum you but then it would with the conversion - plus you get the wider wings, the suspension, the extra electrical kit...

sooo much easier than putting it in a lower model! lol
