I've been on the look out for a cheapish action cam to film trackdays and the odd car related thing and came across the Veho Muvi HD NoProofNoGlory special edition bundle. After watching a few comparison videos on youtube and reading reviews it seems to hold its own against some of the go pros that are double the price. So I thought I'd pop some info up here and upload some footage so people can get an idea of what its like.

As you can see you get a hell of a lot for your money and all the mounts have the same fixings as the ones Go-pro use so if you're after a second camera you can use your existing mounts. The camera is really light and seems pretty robust, the screen is decent to viewfind and check that you've actually recorded something and the menus are nice and simple to navigate quickly.
The remote works up to around 5 meters away and comes with a Velcro mount so you could stick it to the dash etc and control the camera without getting it out the case.

I set it up using the roll bar mount and took it for a quick drive earlier, just waiting for the footage to upload at the moment,. Very impressed with the quality watching it back on the pc and it picks up every bloody rattle from the track car on the mic lol.
This is a quick car walk around I filmed on it earlier, sadly its a bit windy today so sound isn't great.
From what Ive seen so far I would highly recommend it as a cheaper alternative.
