Has anyone had any experience with this stuff? Its a clear urethane film that goes on vunerable parts of the car to protect it from stone chips etc, used in motorsport alot apparently and usually found on the front end of Lambos etc.
Anyhow, DIY kits are now available in Halfords and seem reasonable compared to the cost of getting it done at a specialist. They do kits for headlights, wing mirrors, bonnets etc which you trim to the desired size. Been toying with the idea of doing the wing mirrors as a tester, simply because they get a lot of crap thrown at them and its fairly discreet compared to doing the entire bonnet for your first attempt. Any thoughts?
