very strange smells

When the A/C is switched on it smells like different meals...Seriously, yesterday it smelt like a sunday roast and earlier on it smelt like some really nice bacon :S, the other morning it smelt like beans?
But 10% of the time it smells like burning? anyone know whats wrong?

on a serious note the aircon clutch itself is made from the same material as a clutch as you know it - so it will smell like that.
short of the local kebab shop could have emptied the contents of its bins in your scuttle panel and its sucking it through the pollen filter - or just bacteria in the aircon system buy a can of aircon cleaner/
