Very strange thing keeps happening

Hi, i bought a clio sport 182 about a week ago and the strangest thing is happening.

If i have the radio/cd on every time i break or slow down the music gets quieter as well and when i speed up it gets louder. Then earlier i had the radio on 0 and as i got faster the radio was on but very quiet even though the volume was on 0
Any ideas?

They have speed sensitive radios, that is meant to happen.

There is a setting on the radio to remove that as I have done it to mine but I cant remember how you get to it now. All I know is you set it to 0

Is there a way to have it work with an aftermarket head unit?

If your aftermarket head unit understands a speed input pulse and adjusts volume accordingly, or uses GPS to do the same then I guess so, but not something I have ever tried personally.
