Not good not good not good...i am not happy to say the least

my car was in renault today for a couple of smallish jobs..(one of which hasnt been done)

1st thing i did after getting the keys back was check my precious rims were unmarked...my heart immediately sunk..as i walked round the car...3 out of 4 have about an 8" kerb round the edge..

Renault say it would have been done on the carwash..i replied..what the hell was it washed for i polished it last night it was gleaming when i dropped it off, so not only has it been through the scratcher but the wheels are ruined and the ariel was squashed flat against the roof.

They were very appologetic and offered to re-do them...but they are only about 2 months old..and set me back over £1400, im pushing for a brand new set...i just cannot believe people can be so careless..

i told the salesman im friendly with who works there and he couldnt believe his eyes..he even said himself..why the hell did they wash it..its wider than a normal car they dont normally wash the v6's and it was sparkling anyways!!

so i cannot wait the phone call in the morning..i am not one happy chap, in the heat of the moment ive also asked for a valuation on the F***** thing!

im going german next for sure!

Sorry to hear that Colin- Renault garages are so inconsistent-

You can just picture some grease monkey sitting in your front seat throwing your vee down to the Kebab house before churning it through the Scratchwash-

Some of them need shooting-
Get hold of the service Manager & string him up by the bolloc*s-

dan..my dad has an M3 and the customer service is unbeliveable..they bend over backwards..always meet a deadline..make you feel welcome and take perfect care of your car, it actually makes going to the dealer pleasurable..renault are extremely crap!

bah! Having a MINI I've had shocking experiences with BMW...maybe because we're the poorer cousin....but I've had better service from my Renault garage, in my limited experience!

My dad also had a beemer, hated the dealer from day 1.

Its got nowt to do with the manufacturer, its the monkeys they employ.

The local merc dealers are renowned for being s**t, but the kia garage five minutes down thr road has an A1 rep!

tw*ts, my car goes to RenTech, enough said.

Mines imminently going there, and its a 520 mile round trip to do it. Dont care though, Mike's reputation is good enough to warrant it, heard nothing but praise from people who've been there.

I wouldn't trust my local stealership to tell me the f**king time let alone service my car. In fact Sunwin Renault Bradford can suck my balls!

  RB 200 Cup!
most delaers are shite - holden renault in norwich are meant to be w@nk - i usually take mine to East Bilney garage in nrofolk for mine -1st class service but then again my mate works on my car so i suppose thats a different story - hope you get em to cough up for the wheels

The best service I've had was when I got tyres changed on my LCR. I found a Pirelli Perfomance Centre and booked it in so they could order in the Eagles F1s. Turned up on the Saturday morning and they were top notch.

Low profile trolley jacks with the handles wrapped in foam to prevent potential bodywork damage to the body work. All of their equipment is designed for low profile, performance alloys, they put rim protectors on so they never have metal on metal and they tighten the wheel nuts with torque wrenches!

The Porsche dealer my father uses is very good as well, but then that's to be expected....

Probly took it for a thrash down some lanes and got it dusty so stuck it through the wash. Feel sorry for you :(

Cor that's a bit of trip.... I live 2 miles from his place. (thought I'd rub it in) ;)
