Very Wobbly Bit of Metal (Covering?) in engine bay

  Mk5 R32 (ex.182 (Cupped))
Hi all,

I was checking my oil yesterday and noticed I have a very wobbly bit of metal in my engine bay. Im not sure what its for, just a cover? But im very worried :S

Can anyone tell me what it is, and is it a prob, or even dangerous?

I had been hearing a slight rattle when close to stalling revs, im guessing this was what it was. It moves about 3-4 inches up and down and side to side if i wobble it.

Heres a pic pointing to which bit I mean:

Please let me know :)

Thats the fuel rail cover . There should be 2 x 10mm bolts in the front holding it on .

Is it common for this to come loose? Should I be worried in case it damaged anything?
