VibraTechnics 172 Gearbox mount fitting

Bought a set of mounts from a member on here but unsure if it’s all there for the gearbox mount. Can see online that there appears to be another part but I don’t have it

Also, which way does it go? On the Vibra website they don’t have fitting instructions which is helpful

Thinking of running a dCi spider mount too as there’s more meat to them

You are missing the spacer which sits under the mount.

I was in the same boat as you, and just substituted a couple of washers, as they don`t ( or didn`t) supply the spacer separately.

Yeah just the black spacer you're missing from the looks of it.

Not sure what it's purpose is tbh.

I’m sure I have it the correct way now, just the gearbox spider bolt that’s being a turd. Can either of you double check this way is right and I just have to get heavy handed with the dead blow hammer to knock that little s**t in?[emoji23]

Never mind, just tried another spider bolt I had and slipped straight through

They do require a tap as the inside of the mount is tapered.

I got plenty? Probably enough on there for 2 nuts

Yours is the updated top washer with the recess.

The previous ones made it so that there was only a minimal amount of thread left showing.

I think someone has actually painted/powdercoated that red ?

Not aware of them being available in different colours.

My Mrs might want to go out in it more. She hated my other 172 with a PH1 airbox because it was “loud”[emoji849]
