Video from Renaultsport day at Oulton park

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica] Here's a couple of laps from before lunch. Was shadowed by Dan from MSN cars in his 197 Cup, then <ahem> let him through (!!) for a few laps.

Oulton was great, but not easy. I particularly found Old Hall (1st corner) and Druids (long right hander) very tricky and somewhat intimidating.

Some quick cars out there during the day, but still so impressed at what a bog standard 197 Cup can do. It's just so capable. I happened to glance at my watch while being driven by a certain gentleman from Renault and he hussled his FF 197 around in 2mins 10secs.

I was in the racing blue 197. I wasn't going as fast as I wanted as I didn't want anything to happen to it just before I sell it.

Your car looked quite the replica racer. Very cool. Glad you kept it on the black stuff. I nearly went into the gravel on Druids during my first session!

Yeah druids is a great corner but if you slightly misjudge it then its a killer...I went in a bit fast and was probably a foot or so from sliding onto the grass and into the tyres...just scrapped round tho lol
