Viewing this 172 tomorrow...thoughts?

my insurance money has come through and I have decided to buy a 172, budget of £4.5k max. I'm viewing this one tomorrow and was wondering if there is anything else I should be looking out for on a 172....

Its had its cambelt done and i'm looking to get it for as close to £4k as I can. Not sure about the exhaust though............

been looking around for a monaco blue one for a couple of weeks now and seen them go for around £4k but with 70,000 plus miles on the clock.........

Agreed, exhaust is a must go item :dead:

Seems ok. They probably bought it for around 3-3.5K i'd recon. Looks well looked after mate.

Looks very nice. Lose the exhaust and get a fag lighter and you're there.
Nice low mileage too for the year.

Very, very nice colour too.

As for the cruise control, I use it about twice a year.

Ask them if the aux. belt was done with the cambelt.

Considering how much the cars have gone down recently...

I think i would get something like 3k-3.5k for mine now.
