Viper Alarm

Has anyone got these? If so, have you experienced any problems with it randomly going off? Mine did it a while ago and I took it back to the dealer and he said I needed the sensitivity turned down. Had that done then it did it again. He then told me that the moisture in the air can set it off!!! If I wanted a weather forecaster as I car alarm I would have kidnapped john kettley or michael fish and put them in my bot with a machete!!! Anyone suffered this problem?

i had an avital 5500 it went of a few times when it was installed but then i turned it down and it was fine.

It will be rare to find an owner on hwho has one since Renault use Cobra always have done.

Yeah, mine came with f**k all to be precise! Thats why I went for this piece of s**t

Which Viper is it? Ive got the 480XV. Havent had any problems yet.

i was told by a clifford fitter that the vipers do like going off alot when there is f**k all wrong

A viper is basicaly a re-packaged clifford. They are both owned by DEI. I think there is also a hornet which is the same alarm but under a different name.
