Viper Induction Kit Install

Hi, I own a Viper Induction Kit and have it installed on my RCS 172 mk2 (Australia). Just wondering if anyone here has instructions or diagrams or pics on the best way to get the intake pipe to the bottom of the car.

when i took out the original air filter i left the bottom part in (as below)because it had 2 thin rubber tubes connecting to it (cant see tubes in pic, they come from underneath the engine). Does anyone know what these tubes are and if they do anything?

Thanks,

First off... where did you get the blue Samco induction hose from & how much?! Cant find them in the UK

As for where to run the cold air feed, well mine just goes down the gap between the radiator and where the original cold air feeds come from, straight down. Theres a clear gap if you look.

Others have then mounted the feed behind the lower mesh grill next to the rad (will do mine when I get time) or removed a fog light.

I checked the Samco website and they didnt list the one for a 172/Cup and I cant just use a standard 90 piece as theres an oil breather in there!

The top picture is just a standard 90 degree bend. Just fit a seperate breather filter.

Whats it sound like on throttle ? Do you have to cut or modify the oil breather pipe in order to fit the new breather filter or does it just fit on with an easy removal if you had to put the original airbox etc back on
