vista and flash player playing up

right, im not tottaly computer minded, so excuse me if it is something simple i am missing.

it first started the other day and i could watch youtube vids and the likes on my computer.the next day a box came up and said that there was an update for adobe flash player..do u want to install? so i clicked yes.

now all i get is that i need to install a version of flash player when i go on to youtube.
but when there is a link to a youtube vid ( not a link,..but where you can watch the youtube vid without going on to youtube) i can watch it.?????

dont understand? any help welcomed!

Download and run that which will uninstall Flash Player, Restart your computer and install a fresh Flash Player.

That should sort it.
