Viva España! (Maximum *****age)

Just got back from a week at the in laws in Ontinyent near Valencia. First time away with the baby so was a bit nervous, but all was well going both there and back.

Valencia is a lovely place, and a very photogenic city (most are i suppose). I did use my new 18-200 VR a fair bit, but the old 10-20mm favourite is a must have for citys and landscapes like this. I still did a few lens changes, and unfortunately got some dust on the sensor which spoiled a few photos which i didn't notice at the time. Ah well thank god for the healer tool in photoshop!

Anyway hope you enjoy. Bit of processing on some images, some are straight from the camera.

It was the sigma 10-20. A cheap alternative to Nikon!

I've just bought one. £266 delivered from Hong Kong of the old bay. Got some free gifts thrown in too lol.

Really pleased with it so far - I bought one after seeing Clarts pics on here. Obviously Clarts talent is the reason his pics are so good, but I love the ultra wide aspect you get from the lens.

There's slight distortion at 10mm, and pixel peepers may see that they go a tiny bit soft at the edges, but otherwise there's very little to fault it on... And it's absolutely pin sharp in the middle.

Get one! lol

assuming these lenses are expensive, had a quick look on jessops and almost had a heart attack lol.

the reason i ask is i work for an architects and we often take photo's for our website of projects and the lense you've used make the buildings look amazing
