Vmax Coilovers

Hi, me again!

Right, trying to get coilies with 52m spacing is a right pita! The cheapest I have found is on ebay for £400 delivered. I really don't want to spend that much seens as she's the run about, but I can't seem to find an alternative.

The Vmax one's only go down to 60m on the rear & 70m at the front, that doesn't seem much tbh, or am i completely wrong?

Help please, my heads hurting!

Seems like I've got the same car as you and I managed to get mine done at JMS which I think was a £430 fitted at the time.
They go low enough unless you want to go silly low and I wanted to wind mine down fully, but realised I might have problems with speedbumps and hills where I live!

dont seem or sound low but unless you want a mega drop to the point eveything scraps its best bet or set of rikkor??

vmaxx will go lower than rokkor.

rokkor only come in 58mm spacing

Might just slap some 60mm springs on at this rate!

V-Maxx handling and comfort is pretty awesome, doubt you would come close with springs, plus you'd need to get shocks as well so not saving very much in the end

I got my vmaxx from k-tec they were £400

Yes mate i phoned up and they sorted it all out for me what bolt spacing do you need i have a set of mint 58mm bolt spacing ones for sale?

I phoned k tec and they ordered them and v maxx sent them to me direct. I think mine are either 52 or 54 spacing?

60mm springs are very crashy compared to 60mm coilovers

I'm running vmax on the DCI and very happy with them (ran them on the 172 too)

Vmaxx go as low as you'd ever want to go. JMS fitted them to my 172 so I'd recommend going to them.

it will be! i think i will, then i can buy my cup spoiler too!

Has any one been running vmax coilovers for longer than a year? If so do they still adjust & not get all seized etc? Would also like to know the expectred life span of these.

Hi mag's i have the vmaxxs fitted and as long as they are for road use and not track i think there spot on, as comfortable as the standard set up and lower the car quite a lot, 60mm is a big drop!
