Then will you be wrighting out the for sale advert bud?
I write them out the day I get the car - then I just add the bits I’ve done to the advert as I go on.

Apart from the engine difference between the two - is there a big variation in terms of trim level between the Volvos?
I think you have the leather models, heated seats, air con etc. This models pretty basic but my other was fully loaded.
No, I had shocks and cut springs on that one. I’ve gone upmarket.

Nah, sold them. I decided it wasn’t worth putting £600 suspension on a £1200 car.

Massively? Turned the screw up a little but that’s it. What turns up can always be turned down.

His hand has. Not sure about his finger - it’s still in the turbo.
It was a genuine test! I don’t do mots by post when I take my kids in the car.
Yeah tbf I'm the same. I want to pass but I still want it all checked over by fresh eyes.
If it’s got 4 wheels on I think everything is ok - that’s why mots are essential for me!

Not really worth the hassle as I’d have to replace the rear shocks and springs and front springs. Ends up been expensive which defeats the object of the car really.
Is there a guide for which Volvo estates are the good ones? I see some listed and think they'll sell quickly 'because cool', but then they sit around for ages - is there only a few decent ones to choose??

Prices have gone silly in the past 5 - 10 years, I used to pay £500 for excellent condition 940 turbos before they were ''scene'',
but basically
Anything with a turbo and in good condition for the old 700 or 900 series
Anything not rotten in the old 200 series
Anything with 5 or more cylinders and a turbo on newer stuff
Estates are always better than saloons, ALWAYS !
