Not a good looking engine really is it, but it kicks out 614bhp so we'll let it off.

Thing is, the basic engine wont be much bigger than any other, that's half a car.
It's an M177, which with all the crap that's normally car mounted looks like this

And as a bare block, looks much like any other

Turbo layout is cool though

It's just like all modern cars where the use of moulded plastic ducting and trunking allows space to be much better utilised and spare space disappears

Kind of mate, It wasn't a catastrophic failure but AMG don't mess around with their engines so if they're not happy with something they just request we change the whole engine and send the original back to them.

The chargecoolers are the silver squares on the front of the engine in my original pic at the top if that's what you mean?
