6000k is whiter. 8000k has a blue tint. Go for 6000k mate if you want White c

172 takes d2s bulbs.

A wee colour chart. Might be of help.

I've had a few kits from 4300k, 6000k and 8000k.

I'm stumped between 6000k and 8000k... All the pics of them make them look quite different but in real life there's not a great difference.

I'll probably go for 8000k, slight blue tint but you do get better reflection from the white lines / signs.

6000k is better, 8000k is too blue i find 6k is great for lighting up signs etc, my mates got 8000k on his twingo and it looks like it belongs on a saxo

Standard is 4300k.

I have 8000k on mine, and I don't know whether it's because they're cheap bulbs or something, they aren't bright at all!

Anything over 6000k is Dim, the lower the kelvin the more projected light, 4300-5000k is oem but 6000k looks best

See 8000k in my mates Corsa looked perfect, not too Blue yet 8000k in my BM looked too blue. Changed for 6000k and they were perfect. I upgraded my 4300k bulbs in my TT for 6000k and they didn't have a hint of blue and my mates Corsa looked much better imo.

^ had them in my 197. Tried 6, too blue, not as good light output. 5000k were perfect imo

I just removed my 8000k bulbs and stuck some 5000k's in.

Loads better IMO.

Did you order those bulbs?

I have those exact ones on my desk atm, brand new never used if you want to save a bit of money?
