Lol. I was thinking more along the lines of letting the car warm up a certain degree before even setting off? Is that just being anal?!! Read it on a classified on here I think.

If your referring to sitting in the car for ten mins before you leave, don't. Just drive sensibly mate before you press the loud pedal.

In regards warming up the engine, how important is it before you give it some? ?
Seen a few for sale recently with the owners saying, I always let the oil warm up before driving. Is this at all beneficial? ? ; )

sitting idling until its warm, is the easiest way to get condensation in your engine, and contaminate the oil. Very backwards idea
