Warranty, Aftermarket Suspension and needing new brakes.

  Not a 320d
Right so ive got my car to be recovered and taken down to the renault garage for new pads and discs to be fitted. Ive got coilovers. The car is a year old.

There is a possibility that if my caliper is seized i will be able to claim on warranty, but what im asking is, is my warranty void. i asked before fitting coilovers what exactly i would be voiding and they said anything suspension related.

Do you rekon they could come back to me and say yeah your caliper is f**ked because you fitted new suspension?

If they do, should they be able to do this? It could well be from wear and tear. Like a stone or some s**t.

Im also having brembo standard discs fitted which i know will further merk the warranty but technically theyve not been fitted yet.

I also have 3-4 mm of pad left on the left hand side front, but on the right, i have no pad compund left, and my brake pad fell out. Ive taken my s**t from you guys about this already so i dont want to hear it again. Just give me useful comments please.

your suspension bushes and bearings warrenty is void thats all!!

Brakes are a wear and tear item so generally not covered but seen as you have material left on the near side then this could point towards a caliper fault ie failty piston/seals just have to wait and see what they say as they may refurb/repalce the calipers for you under warrenty if you make a big enough fuss. chances are your going to have to shell out for new pads to be fitted and just give them the brembo discs to fit either way!!

have you got a refund from venom for the ferodo pads??

Not yet they will be getting a phone call tomorrow, I've not paid yet. Might get my mum to have a go at them she's good at that sort of thing.
