Cars going in tomorrow for some warranty work!

Is there any charges associated with this or is it all covered?

Mum says Vauxhall you have to pay a minimum of circa £200????

Can imagine it, buy a brand new car, week later engine destroys it's self,

Might mention the wobbling wheel when i brake at speeds too.. even tho it's probs just the pads & will be wear and tear!

Bloody hell is it dumbo night again?

It comes round so quickly these days, LOL @ discs and pads being under warranty for thirty six THOUSAND miles. No wonder the motor trade is in trouble.

Assuming any replaced items are covered uder warranty.

Nope all free, took my mums 56 plate c220 coupe for a service the other week at the garage i used to work at. They found quite a bad leak on the auto gearbox and its only done 14k.

I've had lots of warranty work on mine. Infact it is going again on Wednesday!

I can assure you it is all free

Pads and Discs arnt covered under warranty for wear, however if they are squealing or juddering due to manufacturing faults that have been acknowledged by the manufacturer, they will replace them under warranty.

Water Pump replaced after noises, Oil Leak in the upper engine area = repair = Cambelt kit replaced, timing belt replaced. Rear brakes squealing even when not being used! (being sorted on Wednesday). Rattle/tapping from drivers side front suspension (being sorted on Wednesday). Build up of substance on the Throttle body (fixed) #4 Coil pack faulty.

I've written to Renault Customer Service. Trying to convince them to give me a replacement at the moment, not sure if they'll listen

i believe you about the brake discs and pads warranty and cant understand why people are taking the piss, Kwik Fit for example offer LIFETIME warranty on thiers!!

EDIT - my 197 has squeeky brakes and Renault say these are not covered as its a "component characteristic" due to the compound!
