Washing the car while its freezing is hard!!!

Decided to wash it today for the first time since October. Didn't notice it was so cold since the sun was shining but as soon as the water hit the ground it froze, same with the car. Had to start it up to defrost the bonnet and use a warm microfibre followed quickly by a drying towel to dry the car.

Finished result, not bad really

Missed a spot of ice

Icy drive, the really slippy kind of ice too

Even with warm water, when it hits the floor it looses it's heat almost immediately and then freezes, I tried today lol. When drying and waxing the car it was almost impossible to walk around. In the end moved the car to a dry part of the drive to finish her off.

I gave mine a wash today. It was a little chilly here, but not cold enough for water to freeze.
It was the first time the car has been washed since the middle of October, which was the last time it would have been possible due to the weather.
It's now sat under a huge plastic sheet thing ready to be clayed, polished, waxed and cleaned inside tomorrow. It looks 1,000 times better already - Iceberg looks awesome when clean but s**t when dirty IMO.

it wasn't quite that cold here yesterday. water did freeze in a very thin film when trying to dry the car though!

it's in the warm garage now

Washed mine yesterday with snow on the ground lol

2 bucket method with warm shampoo & rinsed off with the hose
- then stuck a pair of wooly gloves on and went over the car with AG Aqua Wax

The only good thing about where I park is the water just runs downhill through the gravel into a gutter
